Babies

Babies grow up in the blink of an eye. Don't let these precious moment pass you by! There are four ideal developmental photographic opportunities to be captured in baby's first year of life...

Newborn - Now is the time to capture the precious bond that exists between your family and your new arrival. Details of every wrinkle, precious little nose, hands and lips should be recorded forever. Baby may be awake or asleep, but either way, surrounded by an aura of peace, tranquility and innocence.

At 3 months - At this age baby is smiling and responding to familiar voices and sounds. Baby can hold her head up well and is very much aware of the environment around her. Baby's special blanket, pillow or soft toy can help personalise this portrait.

At 6 months - Strengthening muscles allow baby to sit up and take part in the world around her. Baby craves the attention and delights in having an audience. Portraits at this age are a perfect time to reveal chubby little arms and legs and even cute bottoms. Most babies can comfortably push up off their stomach for that perfect 'ready to crawl' shot - the real milestone portrait at this age.

At 1 year - Still a baby, yet almost a toddler... child is ready to take on the world! For the child who is now walking, the photographic opportunites are endless! And more challenging! Special familiar props or toys can help your child's personality shine through. Or perhaps a romp through the autumn leaves or frollick in the sand by the beach - both ideal activities to aid in capturing this precious 1 year old milestone.
